If you have the software that makes files with sub titles, make me one and make it available! Park your high horse outside! Cannot assist without something to work with… If not, keep your assumptions to yourself. If you know the software well enough to know how this issue is occurring and "help" others, great. So, if you don't want to assist, no worries, other folks with less need to inject their assumptions are willing to help. I'm even barred from allowing the communications department from assisting. Previously, we were able to convert successfully without subtitles using the Video Copy and Convert function in Creator 2009. This really appears to be a problem with the Video Copy and Convert portion of Creator 2010. In every attempt, any option setting we change simply reverts back to its original setting. What we have been trying to do is what is being dismissed as illegal with no discussion on these boards - convert DVD-Video with subtitles over to MPEG4 or WMV without subtitles. I too am having this problem - subtitles retained when settings changed to 'None.' The videos we are using are produced by our school media department and there is no copy protection of any kind on the original.

Unless your source movie with these subtitles is as pure as the driven snow we are pretty much done here? It is illegal and no postings like that are allowed. In almost all questions like this, the Poster is trying to copy a commercial movie that they have downloaded or used some other software to crack the protection and make a copy of it…
